Our Band is a locally based marching band and concert band that performs from May until early October with a single holiday concert at Hilton East Assisted Living. This band has, for many past High School Members, satisfied community service hours required to graduate from Hilton High School. Many of our members have gone on to careers in music. All of our members find it fulfilling to give the gift of music to their community and Western New York.
The Hilton Generations Band is an independent community marching band based in Hilton, NY. The band has several members from in and around the Hilton area including teachers, alumni and residents with some members from as far away as Caledonia, Batavia and Penfield.
In 2008, the band formed for the Hilton carnival parade as a reunion of the former Hilton High School and community alumni. The novel idea was to march, but with friends and family by their side.
In 2009 the band marched it’s first full season. Since that year the band has marched several undefeated seasons in the Non-Firemen’s Band division.
Today, our band maintains itself as an independent group for hire, open to all musicians of Western New York. We are always looking for more players. Currently, our drumline is in need of members who are willing to develop and maintain a core membership. All drums will be provided to you, as we own our drums.

We will be giving our Second Annual Hilton Generations Band Community Music Scholarship in the amount of $500 at the Hilton Music Banquet this June.
As it is a community Music-based Scholarship, picking the winner is determined by the quality and quantity of community music produced by the applicants.
Membership and performance in our organization is not mandatory but it is considered in the scholarship selection process.
